The history of a territory that has always been dedicated to the cultivation of vines merges with the reality of Cantina Cológnola, founded in 2010 by the entrepreneur Walter Darini.
Tradition and innovation coexist with the aim of preserving the ancient vines typical of the local area in a context of constant study and research, guaranteed by a modern winery equipped with the most advanced technologies.
The territory and its protection represent not only the inspiring principle for the wines we produce, but also a value to be preserved, which is reflected in the beauty of the vineyards of Cantina Colognola.

Historic black grape variety from the Marche Region, which, grown at high altitude in Cológnola, and vinified alone, collects all the peculiarities of the terroir.
Cantina Cológnola was born from the love for agriculture and nature of the entrepreneur Walter Darini, already the owner of the Tenuta Musone farm, with land extending over 500 hectares, and cultivated with cereals and legumes.
Maria Grazia Darini, Serena Darini and her husband Matteo take care the company, together with a team of professionals led and coordinated by oenologist Gabriele Villani.
The new cellar is designed in compliance with modern technologies in an eco-sustainability way.

Owned by the Darini family, the Cantina Cológnola – Tenuta Musone winery and estate is a heavenly place at about 360 metres above sea level, overlooking a valley even goes to discover Monte Conero. The particular micro-climate, together with the extremely calcareous nature of the soil, guarantees the production of fine wines unique in their typology and of an excellent extra virgin olive oil.
We cultivate exclusively autochthonous grape variety, producing typical wines full of character, where oenology is at the service of the raw material, and ensures the best possible processing of the bunches, carefully monitoring the fermentation and the gradual evolution of the wines.
The vineyards are entirely organic. Here, Verdicchio reigns supreme, surrounding the winery with rows that extend for about 33 hectares of which covers 85% of the total cultivated area, while the remaining 15% is dedicated to Montepulciano.
We produce wines that describe a territory we want to share with you and of which we are extremely proud. For this reason we have dedicated an environment to welcoming guests and tourists who wish to taste or buy our wines, with the opportunity to visit the heart of our company and observe our work from up close.
All our vineyards are organic and processed without the use of any herbicides or pesticides.
Between one row and another, we prefer a natural grassing to safeguard the stability and composition of the soil.
We support the vineyard throughout all of its phases, without ever opposing its natural evolution.

Not only a wine cellar: the organic farming of the Tenuta Musone estate also includes the cultivation of olive trees, from which we obtain an excellent extra virgin olive oil.
The Marche Region has a long experience in making sparkling wine from Verdicchio. We renew this tradition enhancing it with the elegance of our Classic Method.
From the beginning we have dedicated ourselves to making sparkling wines according to the Metodo Classico, or Classic Method, using exclusively Verdicchio grapes with the intent of producing wines from an indigenous grape variety, in its typology perhaps less well known outside the borders of our own territory. This method allows us to tell a further expression of this wonderful vine.
